Dear Registrants,
Due to an unavoidable airline scheduling conflict, the first day Dr. van der Kolk’s Newark workshop, Frontiers of Trauma,
will begin at 9:30 AM instead of 8:30 AM. The change applies to the first day only, Thursday Nov. 8. On Friday, Nov. 9, the workshop will begin at 8:30 AM as planned.
This change affects only the Newark, NJ location -- workshops at all other locations will begin at 8:30 AM on both days.
The workshop will end at 4:30 PM on both days, as scheduled.
In order to accommodate the time change, morning and afternoon breaks on both days will be shortened from 30 minutes to 15 minutes. (Most IAHB workshop schedules currently provide for 15 minute breaks). All planned workshop content will be covered, and
attendees who complete the workshop will still receive 12 CE/CME credit hours.
We are attempting to contact all registrants by email, phone, fax, and/or snail mail to inform them of this change. As of Monday,
October 29, individuals registering by phone will be advised of the time change when they register. We sincerely regret having to make this change, and we apologize to registrants who may be inconvenienced by
it. Dr. van der Kolk has assured us that the breadth and depth of workshop content will not be affected, and both he and Institute staff will do everything in their power to make sure attendees receive full value
from it. This workshop has received very high ratings in other locations, and we hope you find it both instructive and enjoyable despite the time change.
Please let us know if you have any questions, or if we can be of service in any other way. If you would like to contact me personally,
please email gpiaget@iahb.org or call me at 650-851-8411.
Sincerely,
Gerald W. Piaget, Ph.D., President Institute for the Advancement of Human Behavior, Inc.
